Hey Guys,

I chatted with Chris a little while back about his current commission rates for another fan and this is what he e-mailed back:

"My single character 11 by 17 greyscale pieces are $400. $200 for each additional character.

I do 11 by 14 busts for $200 as well. I'm currently working on a wait list. No money up front to get on the list, but a 50% deposit when I'm ready to start on your piece. I guess that about covers it."

It appears that he has a lengthy (not surprisingly) commission list but has been doing occasional commissions. Hope that helped Best,

Royd

Damn - now I really wish I'd gotten on the list a couple of years back when his price was something like $250. Problem was, he opened his list about a week after I'd paid for my Cinar commission.

It looks like I'll have to be happy with the Thor he did for me last time. $400 is out of my league.

I didn't want to misspeak; I just know that Rod's usually one of the first onboard for these commission lists.. so I'm assuming he's "in the know" on Chris's rates.
I shot Matty a PM with Chris' "new" rates

It's funny this is a hot topic as I'd actually recently decided I'm ready to part with one of my pieces from Chris and share a little love. Looks like I picked the right time!
Love Chris to death and he knows it, (his art aint half bad either ) but I have a few from him, so it seems a sensible thing to do, plus I may get to help out a fellow SFér with a deal too

For anyone curious, this one will be looking for a new home
