I like Hulk but I’m gonna stay away from the environment bds in favor of the black bases. I like the simplicity of the black bases at this scale.

I agree with your opinion.It feels like a work when there is a black base.

I'm not sure if he was supposed to say it but the art director mentioned the BDS bases are mandatory for some characters because of the license.

I feel like the black bases are nice and a refreshing change from some of the busy bases we are seeing nowadays. It keeps costs, and space down and the focus is on the character.

That's interesting. So I guess the license is for individual characters? Seems weird that they could do Cap and some X-Men on the black bases.
I'm just not crazy about the idea of mixing the BDS pieces in with the others. Just sucks that we may never get some of these characters to match.
