Another thing about Ebay
Everytime I sell comic book art on Ebay. I have 3 people that bid on every freaking auction I have. They bid between $6, and $60. I have never ever, ever, ever in 6 years of selling.. Ever sold anything to these guys. Is anyone else a loser on here who bids $1 on every page.
I for one don't have time to delete 3,000 outbid notices a day. Plus when the auction is almost up, you get another email. Who are these people that do not have lives.
Please don't give me that bullcrap that you never know you might get a deal. You are never going to get a perez cover for $18.
The thought of these people disturb me so much. I am almost tempted to put them on my non bidder list.

OK....so no, that's not me. My usual ebay practice is to put something on my watchlist, then within the last 24 hours if the item is in my price range I'll bid. Somebody I know....... ........was selling a Secret Invasion page with Spiderwoman handing Iron Man the skrull Elektra. I had it on my watchlist, but when my purchase went through on my Mike Choi piece and the page was over $311 I no longer had the funds to bid.

Well it's a fake Spider-Woman.. That's why I'm selling it.
But I have made a bid before instead of putting it on my watch list. But not every freaking auction... That's what I don't understand.

I noticed this as well. I think the idea is to bid on a whole bunch of stuff and hopefully someone might not notice the auction and you get a bargain. It might be a pipe dream. But you gotta be in it to win it.
I won my Adam Kubert DPS for $151 where I know the owner wanted $700-$800. I was willing to go to $500 but no one ended up bidding. Resulting in my first bid going through. It doesnt happen often. But it sure does happen. You cant blame the guy for trying.

Oh... and that guy is not me.
I am in the school of bidding exactly the max I am willing to spend and then if I win. I will get an email. Thats it.
I used to do the last minute snipe method. But I find that blowing people outta the water early discourages others from bidding.
I win allot of Bown statues this way.
