yeah. Apart from what I already have pre-ordered, I think this may be the only thing I'm interested in picking up, from what I've seen.

Looks to be about 1/6 scale (if the figure were human scaled)- I'm gonna guess about a little under 15" tall.

That size, and equivalent price point, would be just fine for me, for this. I'd take anything 12"-17" tall, maybe 19" tops (same as the XM 1/6 Aquaman on his steed)

Anything larger, and more expensive, and I'd pass.

Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

Yes they did. I asked maybe 6-7 months ago based on an interview online where Bill Stout said they were making it. Happy surprise.

Has anyone been able to eyeball this in person or get some pics?

I'm very curious how big this is.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

My guess would be about 1/6 scale. It's not huge, but a good size for mounted piece.

Yeah it looks about 1/6 scale. Still a nice sized piece.

1/6 is generally a good, manageable size for someone astride an animal or a machine.

OTOH, even though I was initially more interested if this were smaller and less expensive, the more I look, at it the more I would be just fine (prefer?) having it run close to a smaller PF size (22"-25" inclusive of the base) and with that equivalent price tag. It definitely doesn't appear to be that tall, though.

In any case, it would be a nice respite from displaying almost nothing but superheroes, Star Wars, and cheesecake.

I would have been all over that House Of Gog release, which was also based on a previous illustration and channeling a similar funky/cartoony alien world vibe, with even more striking colors - but not for over the over $800 with shipping they're asking.

for reference, here's that one (it's 16" for the figure, 19" if you display it with the moon backdrop)

I really love the House of Gog piece, but that price tag was just too much for me.
