I asked out my crush on Saturday. He said, "sure," seemed happy about it, but was only coming back to town for a week so he needed to see what his schedule, etc, was like. Now it's Wednesday & I haven't heard from him. I can believe that he's ... busy, getting settled or whatever, seeing friends he hadn't seen (7 weeks touring); but do people not get back to someone anymore when they ask you for a date?

he said 1 week & i thought he arrived Monday. he's going away again for a monthlong job.
i REALLY should stop obsessing over this, but i haven't had a date in 5+ years (4 years in a relationship, 1+ year ... not). 
and, what a modern dilemma, Facebook is the only way we've communicated while he was on-tour. I have resolved to stop stalking him there, so I'm now betting on never seeing him. sigh.

Don't give up yet... Maybe he really is just busy, if he is only in town once a month I am sure there are lots he has to do, and his not calling is no reflection on you...

How sad is this that I have to be in surgury in 2 hours, will be liad up for a few weeks, and one of the last things I'm doing is rushing out the door to mail off two kits to J for painting?
