Art collection – how much on CAF?
For those that use CAF (most of us), how much of your art is up on your public gallery? All? Half? A small percentage? For those that don’t have everything up, why not?
No right or wrong answers, just curious.

Hi guys
Why you hiding your collection Dave? Roughly 95% of my stuff is there... the only ones I'm missing are those I haven't scanned. I use fairly small files so not too afraid of "theft".

I think at this point nearly all my stuff is out there, although every once in a while I realize I've forgotten to scan something I got years ago. There is a handful of pieces I've never posted, because I was disappointed in how they turned out.

Maybe 20% of my collection is on CAF. Reason being is the only access I have to a scanner large enough for my 11x17 pieces is the one at work, and I don't feel like lugging my portfolios on the subway. I would like to put the rest on there, but not sure when that would be. I guess I could do my 9x12's at home....

i put most of mine up. i figure may as well have it available for other like minded individuals to enjoy it. also gives me the opportunity to look at my collection while i'm away from home.
i sometimes have concerns about bootleggers copying my pieces but at the end of the day most artists post up my commissions via social media anyway.
i dont have a scanner either so have been lazily taking pics and posting those up.

I have about 100 pages (Star Trek, Spidey, Batman) and don't have any on CAF. One reason is I don't have a large enough scanner and Staples charges for larger pieces that don't fit in the feeder. But generally, I don't think I have anything so mind blowing that it is worth the time and trouble. They are cool to me, but maybe not many others.

I'm in the same boat as others here, I post everything I have a scan of. I don't have access to a scanner right now so I'm relegated to crappy cell phone pics for now.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
