LOL, we kind of gave up on the Peace Pipe idea, we all just grow our own and smoke fatties now! LOL 
And Yes, there are Buffalo in Oregon. Of course not "native", but there are some really great Buffalo ranches here. In fact only 24 miles So. of me, in Glendale Oregon, there is 3400 head +/- heard. A true thing of Beauty. If you have never seen them in nature ie: Yellowstone. It is something a person should see in their lifetime.

Yes, we have some buffalo herds around here as well...magnificent creatures!!!
But then I also like "Great White Buffalo" by Ted Nugent... 
The two are not necessarily exclusive...

Well, they don't actually roam anymore...
They kinda hang around in gangs and sell METHANEphetamine on the street corners leading our children down a dangerous path...
They tend to spray graffiti slogans, marking their territory at night, steal cars and go joyriding and are just basically a public nuisance...
I think they're trying to get revenge on the white man for almost making them extinct...but you'd have to check with Al Gore about that to be sure...
