i think it means 18 = total of 18. i believe only 20 were made (for the 1st batch and the original intention) and 2 pcs were to be kept by the licensor and maybe the other by GG themselves...so 20 less 2 :-)

Yep I believe so too. I am having a customize plaque made for my Balrog head..I'll just write
"unnumbered limited edition first 20 produced" or something to that effect.

The display base is almost done. It's 7 feet..can't wait to finally be able to display it. =)
