a pencil drawing I did of Mephisto a few months back...

the first drawing I did in a long time. I think it came out pretty well but I think the shading is a bit off.

comments and critiques are welcome...and encouraged

..and here's a picture of the shadow box i customized for it. I first painted the back board with a super matte black Krylon and then a sponge to add many varying layers/shades of red. It's very tough to tell from these pics, but I custom made a floating mount, so the drawing sits about an inch+ off the back board. The no glare glass finished it all off.

that mephisto looks wickedly devilish your putting my work to shame lol its all good though i love the framing work too. love how you match the color scheme of the frames background with mephisto's personality. really sets the mood of the art. keep em coming guys. i love it that you guys shares your art in this thread!

putting your work to shame?!? no way. Those inks are bad a$$. I think the shading in my Mephisto drawing is a bit off as well...

I don't really have more to post right now. The only ink I have in progress is based on the cover of Violator #1...a pic of Clown.
