In the original script, there was to be a great unveiling of a statue of Gotham's founder for the bicentennial celebration. When the curtain drops off the statue, it's revealed to be the Joker, and all hell breaks loose, as he and his thugs attack. During this melee, Dick Grayson's parents are killed, and this sets in motion the Robin storyline that was jettisoned in later drafts.

Nicholson was indeed presented with one of the castings which was resin with a brassy rather than bronze finish.

yup heather langencamp I think is her name seems the WB used all the stars of their movies and tv shows in the catalogs back then lol now I wanna find my flyers I have a bunch of the old catalogs where I can find them lol

I have the Pearl Thunder Batman Blue version with the longer ears, as well as the ARH Batman Dead End, both are two of my favorites. Also managed to get my hands on an Andy Bergholtz painted Bat Bust. I can't upload all of my shots as the files are the wrong size and I'm a caveman. I also have an ARH/Peter Rock collaboration of Batman, Nightwing, and Robin on a rooftop with faces resculpted by Rock. Once again the files are too big. Sorry. Here is my Pearl Thunder Batman, picture by Kenny Alessandro who fixed up and repainted him, and also a Turner Batman.
