I don't mind waiting for a better Sideshow Batman PF to come out. Like I said, hopefully SS is resilient enough, and acknowledges the initial mistakes made with this release and corrects them for the repaint version. Batman is my favorite, and the new the new Keaton Bats looks fantastic, but I'll wait for in-hand pics for that one too.
Actually, I think that's very smart because you'll end up with far fewer disappointments in the long run. Most of the time, EXs are overrated. They're usually nice to have, but they rarely make or break a piece. All the 'ex or fail' around here is usually just chest-pounding. If you're in it for the long haul, it really doesn't matter. I have a roughly equal divide of EXs and regs in my collection, and I don't value the former any more than the latter.

Thinking about picking up a reg. This piece is looking pretty sweet.

I just unpacked my punisher tonight... Number 206.
I absolutely love this statue. It's so neat and clean... Just a crisp, authentic look about it. Simple and powerful at the same time, a perfect depiction of frank castle...
If anyone is on the fence with this, you should pull the trigger. The ex knife is nothing... Just get a reg and be happy about it.
I got the knife, but it's really unnoticeable IMO.

just got my punisher... looks perfect except the body is broke at the waist so the upper torso moves freely and wobbles. The fabric is hiding the break and holding the statue together. Really hope ss offers a replacement

I dig it.

The Ex is absolutely the cheapest Ex of my PF collection but the overall statue looks really good. I like the dirtiness painted into the white, the subtle grey around the edges of the skull, the smooth surface of the base and the harness detail. The velcro on the back (which lets you remove the harness) and the adjustable front straps and shoulder pads are a nice touch, I was able to get a fit I liked after taking pics by messing around those parts.

The pistol in the holster is a nice touch. They should have had the left arm holding another gun for the Ex instead of the flimsy plastic almost rubbery knife, not sure why a 2nd shotgun wasn't used like the Russian video dude, but whatever. Great to have another classic Marvel character, whose originally a Spidey character at that!

Nobody in the MU wants to run into this in a dark alley...

The ex knife is a bit lame but it is 10x better than a print.
