P1 Scale Comparison to SS
Hi guys, I'm considering some Prime 1 quarter-scale statues, but was curious how they scaled with Sideshow's premium formats. Do they look good together or is one company's idea of 1/4 scale different from the other?

I always had have the feeling XM and P1 1/4 scale statues are taller than those from SSC. One exception is ToT, he is a big taller than XM & P1.

Probably my favorite display. Just got in the prime 1 Swamp Thing. Along with Venom my 2 favorites . Most of my pieces are Sideshow 1/4 scale and prime 1 complement those greatly.

Thanks for the responses. My fear is buying a P1 statue that's 1/4 and looking out of place with Sideshow's 1/4. Even though it should be similar in size. Maybe more people in the P1 board have mixed displays than here, so I'll try there as well for feedback.

I'm not sure regarding other pieces but that Prime 1 Venom piece is more like a 1/3 piece. It is gigantic.
Here is how it looks next to Deadpool...

Thanks guys. I wonder if SS shrinks their 1/4 sizes - at least with dynamic poses. The new SS Joker and Harley while fantastic, also feel slightly smaller in size than many of the museum 1/4 poses. Or it could be a matter of difficulty sizing up characters in the printing phase.
House, thanks for the head to head with Deadpool and Storm Shadow!

I have Prime 1's 1/4 The Flash and Cyborg with my new Justice League pieces from SSC, all look perfect together, I don't think any one would say they are out of scale.

Yes this was so obvious way back I brought it up. All action poses are definitely smaller in size even if the height is 1/4. The mass of the figure will be smaller and thinner on the body parts. It’s always been like this. Same for xm just a tad. For p1 I don’t know since they go all out on the massive scales. Lol
