I think the clear bases look fine on museum poses like the Sucker Punch girls but the clear cubes for the Black Widow doesn't work imo ( if that is the final design ).
I like the shiney black bases they use for their Star Wars statues i think they should have gone for them for the 1/4 stuff too.
Also adding things like walls or crates on top the black bases looks ok still imo where as i don't think it'd work with the clear bases.
They did it with Greedo and Walrus Man and i thought it worked well, although i know some didn't like the look of the wall on the black base.
