I think the body and cape sculpt/texturing is fantastic - the back of the cape looks like fabric.

Overall I'm very happy to add him to my collection
Congrats! If you like it, that is the key!

I agree, I really like the overall body sculpt and texturing...they executed the floating effect quite well, and the mangled piece of Steppenwolf is a nice touch

Congrats - I think he looks great. I already have Darkseid and Batman on order, but I don't think I can resist getting this guy in too.

Thanks a lot for sharing your photos!

Or that WETA can't just release something similar to their prototype.

Cheers JC

I'm sorry, I'll never get over how horrible the paint difference is for the S shield. Unbelievable for a $900 statue! This should've absolutely been fixed before shipping these out! Can hardly tell there's even a symbol there since the factory decided to paint it all the exact same shade of grey.

Agree on the paint. It definitely lost the contrast that was present in the proto.

So many wrongs in this Superman production piece. From the portrait to the body paint. Terrible! ;x Glad I managed to get a full refund back including deposit from WETA.

My Superman turned up.
The head isn't perfect but definitely better in person. The suit needs the emblem and belt repainting.
The pose is great!

The 2nd pic is probably the best angle of the face to take a picture.

Thanks for the pics. If you like them, that is key. I believe you when you say they are better in person (most statues are).

I love 90% of all three statues - the body, poses, paints, sculpts, etc. My only hesitation on all 3 is the head sculpts. I think I would have bought all of these if those were done a little better.
