I'm waiting until COD6. Would must rather waste my time and money on SOCOM than yet another WWII game, especially one from the folks that brought us COD3.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Played the online Beta last night. Some suprising gore in it, I had my foot blown off by artillery, my friend said he had limbs blown off by close quarter shot gun action.
I had several jump moments with the dogs. Also, the sound of the artillery strikes is really unsettling!

Picked this up today. Not too bad. It is pretty much CoD4 with WWII skin. Though, I can tell it's not Infinity Ward. One of the most obvious things is the respawning. IF uses it at times, but Treyarch always gets carried away with it. If you sit back and pick enemies off, you'll be there for an eternity. It's not until you walk forward and hit a certain spot on the map that the enemies stop coming. It's a little lame.
This game throws an insane amount of enemies at you making for a pretty intense campaign. There've been a few instances where there's been so much chaos going on that I just froze and stared at the screen hehe. Once again the cpu is godly with grenades and will carpet bomb you with perfect grenade tosses. I've had more than one experience of being completely encircled by grenades.
I'm not a big fan of the kamikaze attacks or the dogs. If you don't see it in time, you're probably dead since you have a fraction of a second to hit the right stick to counter it...and if you don't... When you die in the game..it's going to be grenade or dog/kamikaze that does it.
If you've played CoD4 you'll be familiar with the graphics, sound and overall control. Pretty good stuff there. It lacks IF's polish though.
