I thought so too. Unless they just want to release it around the same time the new one comes out which I don't see the point this should be out to hold us over till then.

I was just reading on this, and from the beta forums there is tons of bugs still.
At least SF4 is up for pre order on game stop! So looks like i need a PS3 before Feb 2009.
