Frank miller Marvel Spotlight page
I got this a LONG time ago, the guy I bought it off of trimed the damed edges of the page, so I talked him down from 25.00 to 15.00.
It is supossed to be Mr Miller's 1st assignment at Marvel that hadn't gotten published until Marvel Spotlight V2 #8.

If you want to make a nice profit on it I will gladly pay you 3 times what you bought it for.

LOL I just dug the thing outta storage. I've had the piece for awhile and need to put it in a frame, to enjoy myself.

Alot of my Spider-Woman pages have the corners cut off. I wonder why Marvel did that, did they tape them to the printer wheel or something.

I knew the corner were trimed like that from the printer's, Brian. I never saw the edges trimed like that, and the comicshop owner did admit to triming them.
I lived in Illinois for most of my life, and never did get down to the actual place that printed the books themselves. When I was at Kubert's school, many of the pieces he owned were trimed on the corners but none on the edges.
My favorite piece was a Hal Foster, Prince Valient. My god was it just so cool.

As long as the artwork isn't affected, I'm not at all bothered by trimmed edges.
Also, I hate to be the one to tell you this but purchasing a page from Frank Miller's first assignment at Marvel featuring Captain Marvel at $15.00 is a total rip off. You got snowed, bub. I mean, who in their right mind would ever have any interest in purchasing a page from one of comicdom's pioneers first ever published works? We all feel very bad for you.

Well at the time, Frank was in his prime on DD, this was an assignment piece done years before. I really didn't mind paying 15 dollars for it, even then.
