Joe Rubinstein Nova/ Arvell Jones Hourman
My two pick-ups from this years Great Lakes Comic Con. Special guest was Joe Rubinstein. Arvell is a regular there and a local talent.. Arvell had done a Nova for me already so I let him loose in familiar territory with All-Star Squadron member Hourman.

Thanks Damon. It's obvious that Arvell's piece is the winner here. I really would have liked to seen Joe R put a little more effort into his Nova. I have seen much better recent stuff. Not sure if he felt rushed?

This is a very small con that takes place twice a year at a local community college expo center in Warren Mi outside of Detroit. Arvell Jones and Keith Pollard are regulars and there is generally one or two other big names they bring in to sell tickets. Last event had Steranko. What's really nice is the five minute drive from my house.
