Knowing their track record, I really don't think they could do a better job than what Arnie Kim has already done. The bar is set too high for them.
Arnie Kim's Superman is perfection.

JND have never got their likenesses 100%, so I doubt that would stop them. This will be a very popular piece I'm sure

I remember the day I saw it. I was 8 at the time and am 53 now.
It came years before things like Blade Runner, The Thing, Dragonslayer etc. ..which took FX to new heights.

I suppose CR Superman could be a candidate for the next JND statue, but CR doesn't quite fit the clue regarding method acting.

Quite right. It will be a hugely popular piece when done right.
70% to 75% top is what they are capable of when it comes to likeness. Blitzway is better, IMO.
It is not just my personal opinion and observation. It was determined using a couple of photographic image recognition apps in the Arwen thread. It's not exactly scientific but the result was quite close.

They are capable and have done better than that already, you are talking about their worst effort to date. Blitzway is a bit overrated like JND, I have not been that impressed with their likenesses overall either.

You know what, Shoo? I would be glad to see statue of either CR Superman or AP Michael Corleone from JND. I think they would both be hugely popular.

I think we can bury this thread in the ice surrounding this fortress of solitude, if the title can't be edited!

Hell yeah! Christopher Reeve Superman, im all in. I know it won't be better than Arnie Kim's version but can't be any worse than Sideshow's(which I own). This is one of my top 5 statues on my JND wishlist so im excited to see this piece

Cool!
It's all in the head-sculpt. Can JND do it?
