yikes. 7 years. thats unbelievable.
i had an artist give me similar responses. its as if it was the same script. the wait time was 9 months. i had to pull the plug and got my $ back.

I was going to commissions him awhile ago, there was a listing on CAF through his rep at TheArtistsChoice. The way the rep answered my questions was really short and almost abrasive, turned me off of doing business, so I guess it was a good thing (after reading these stories). One of the questions I asked is if the artist shows prelims, the rep seemed almost offended.

He's been posting on his Facebook page that he's been working on overdue commissions, don't know who's or what.

well my brother is going on 8 years being owed 2 commissions so I dont know how far overdue someone has to be to get what they paid for. I put up with the lies and bs long enuff. gave him an out and asked for refund .He still hasn't refunded or done the 2 pieces.

I am going to stop this tangent right here. No way I will agree on putting EVS and Spencer in the same category. I have worked with Spencer multiples times and had lengthy conversations with him and he is extremely fair, upright, and honest. You may not like his selling terms and I know some have called him a bit short and maybe even grouchy but he will give you a square deal every time and you will always know where you stand with him on a transaction.
