The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

That's good news. But only at cons, I suppose? I've always wanted a full body Wolverine by him. One day perhaps.

I've met Jim twice. I had a headshot like this done the first time and then a timed sketch the second. Neither was cheap. This is fantastic!

I'm not positive. He only did two drawings at this 2 day show. He gave me a price range and I told him to do as much as he could. I would have loved a full body piece but I don't think he really does them any more.

Was his table busy? Or was this an at-home piece? I imagine he gets lots of con sketch requests.
This was actually done at the show on Sunday. His table was busy both days with autograph requests and print sales. Each time I walked by his booth he would be chatting with people while working on my piece which ended up taking him most of the day.

I had an interesting conversation with Jim regarding the timed pricing. I believe he went away from that before I saw him at a show where I had major fund-age as I wonder what would result from buying a day or two of his convention time

well, even for Asher, he charged $50 for a 5 minute headshot. kid you not, iPhone on the table, timer going while he drew. in all honesty, he did go maybe 20 seconds over. i think my headshot was $160 in 2012.

That is a stunning headshot. Congrats.

Did Terry say if he would work on your request at home? Maybe bump you up the list at another con?

He didn't make any promises but said for me to hit him up before SDCC and he would see what he could do.
