His prices have gone way up. I think I paid $50.00 for my Jack of Hearts head sketch in 2008.
Jim put some extra work into this one so it ended up being $400.00

Tell me about it. I was discussing this with my wife and I siad I have been halfway behind the entire time. Willing to spend $100 when everything was $200; $500 when $1000; $1000 when $2000 etc. fortunately I didn't tell her about selling the house. We can live under a cover, right?

Nope. Every time I think prices are going to level off, there's another artist asking for 4 figures for a commission and half splashes -- and appears to be getting it.

Covers truly exploded. From 2007 to now They went from something like 700 to 1200 to 1800 to 2000 to crazy numbers. And I am. Only talking current new covers.
