Thanks! Pretty stoked to open her up, but won't get a chance until Thursday!

I've had great luck with DHL so far. I like that I can arrange to pick up my packages at a nearby service point, so I don't have to worry about waiting around or the package getting stolen. Mine arrived Friday, but couldn't get it until Monday, and the outer packaging looks fairly good for how far it's traveled.

Annd... I'm not happy. For the money I spent to get it to me and the time I spent to get the pre-order in, this piece has way too many problems.
-Her right arm doesn't fit in all the way, and there's a gap in her arm at her bicept
-Her right horn/wing doesn't fit in her head at all, and without even really trying to force the piece in it's already scratching the paint off her hair
-There was a crack on her rear thong that looks like it was just painted over and not repaired
-There are little nicks in her hair and one on her butt (up and to the right of her thong) that weren't repaired
-The base has a lot of white powder on it, which looks like it came from a peg/hole that a bat was supposed to fit in that a QC guy must have dremelled bigger to fit the peg in while not cleaning it up afterwards (wiped it off and didn't picture it)
-Holes for the bats are still so tight that the metal pegs are pulling out of the bats because they're stuck in the base (I didn't picture this as it happened after I was trying to dismantle this piece and put it all away)
-The bat that attaches to her wing looks down and not upward, meaning it's a dremel error of the hole being drilled incorrectly
-Whatever QC guy that was inspecting the piece/box wiped a bunch of glue or paint (or something) on the inside of the outer box which adhered both top and bottom boxes together and ripped them when I opened it. There are brush strokes and finger prints of this "glue" all over the inside
-The same adhesive is on one of the lower waist wings, like a thumb print
-The wings aren't even magnetized on mine. There are pics which show a piece of metal at the ends of the wings. But mine are painted over, and there's no snap or pull to them once I put it in the holes on her back (not pictured)
-The box was ripped and cut before it was packaged in its brown shipper. The entire box arrived fine to me with no damage that punctured the protective inner styrofoam. So this happened before it was packed
I'm disappointed, and even more disappointed that any repairs that might be worked out are gonna be that much more expensive since replacements will have to be sent to my guy and then sent on to me in the States =( Actually, typing this post out and uploading these picks is really making me angry. I waited so long for this piece and heard so many great reviews from other owners that I feel almost heartbroken, especially because of my love for the Darkstalkers/Night Warriors franchise =(
I gotta walk away from this for a day or two to cool down before I can come back to it I think...

Oh man, this really hurts my heart! I really hope you can get this sorted out. Makes me nervous about mine actually!

Sux about the other problems, and I hear you about the bats and hair wings. The metal pegs on most of mine show, they dont slide all the way in. Its an aggravation, but ine I can live with. I might try fixing it if I ever get around to it.

I wonder if anyone else on here who has gotten theirs is experiencing similar issues...

I've definitely seen the arm thing mentioned elsewhere.

I see the problem now with the arm. Originally I thought it was the fringes blocking. Looking underneath the arm is flush with the sleeve. But when you take the arm off you can see the entire sleeve has slid down past the connection and is preventing it from lining up. Dont have a lot if time right now but the sleeve is not wanting to slide back up over the joint. Gonna take a bit more time to mess with it later- hoping I dont break any glue loose anywhere when I stretch it. Hairdryer?

This implies that DHL does not require a signature when they deliver like UPS would. Is that true?

Alright, HEADS UP for you guys. I was putting her in my case and when the led lights hit her I saw fingerprints on the front spine of her right wing- all up and down it like a dalmation. My heart sank. Buuuuut! Before I started into my email I thought maybe there was a 1% chance they would wipe off with a damp rag... and they DID!!!
The matte black on her wings and hair wings attrack fingerprints like crazy. Wear cotton gloves at all costs and save yourselves a heart attack.

Not sure but I always have to sign for it when I pick it up. Since where I work is about a mile from their service point, I just pick my packages up from there. Same with UPS, I pick them up at the UPS store.

Thanks! Based on feedback I just got from my seller, it sounds like DHL will require a signature when delivering.

#421 in the house!
Was able to finally open mine and was pleasantly surprised. No breaks/cracks or anything worrisome. Only gripe is the bats don't sit flush, but you can't really notice much when it's displayed. Her boot that has a rod that goes into the base doesn't sit flush either, but it's definitely secure. I had one small black line on the tip of her hair in the back that I hadn't even noticed until I put her back in the box. Box was fine, no finger prints or glue smearing on the outside. I did have some weird scratch going across my instruction booklet, and since that was the first thing I opened, I thought that was a bad sign, but thankfully everything else was good. I didn't think the black line merited a pic, but here are a couple pics of the flaws.
