I wish they'd just paint the flames a brighter orange.
The light up feature isn't really needed.

And agree with the other dude, the flames don't need to go to his shoulder. Halfway up his forearm would be fine:

Yes clearly I don't. They should retroactively change the name of the comics from the 70's. Maybe the new Aja covers depict him differently I don't know. Actually I just googled. None on the first page that I saw show the energy going up the arm.

Saw one. It was from graphics for a video game, I missed reading that issue.

I agree with you but on google i didn't find any pics with similar power on the arm. It always only the fist.

There are few that go like half way up the forearm. I don't really mind that the power goes all the way up the arm. I would have rather liked something like an ex Ray or closer to just the fist but it is what it is. Now, as long as the light up portion can be fixed when it goes down I'm happy. IMHO one of XMs best.

I would prefer the Fist-effect (Shou-Lao energy) to be mid-forearm max, to be honest. While people are certainly free to post the occasional image where the artist took things further, Iron Fist hasn't typically been depicted with the Fist effect all the way up to his shoulder like that. I imagine this particular design choice will have some people scratching their heads.

I guess I personally just see this, as with other statues, as an artists interpretation on a character and their abilities. If the fist was identical to most of the other ways this character is depicted I wouldn't have an issue with it either.

He's instantly recognisable as the character and with a take on his "Iron Fist" ability the way the artist sees it. I love it as a statue collector but can understand someone that is more invested in the character and comic wanting it to look they way they are used to seeing him.

I will wait to pass judgement on the delicious looking fiery chicken leg / thigh combo. Light up might be really cool looking. Besides, I believe we will have option to display with plain arm or with chi arm.
