Just came across this. Didn't see any posts from SDCC 2016.

9 inch statue only available as part of the Collector's Edition of the PS4 console game. Not sure what the statue is made is given the Collector's Edition is $120, only $60 more than the stand alone game.

Don't know if this is the same but if it's similar to other video game collector's edition statues I've seen quite a few of them that are hollow-cast hard plastic.

They look decent on a shelf but if you actually pick them up they feel pretty cheap. Still for the price though it's not bad at all. Since I wanted this game anyways I went ahead and pre-ordered the collector's edition from Amazon.

Fun tip: you get 20% off of video games that you pre-order if you have Amazon Prime. That applies to collector's editions that come with nice goodies too .

For a small statue, this looks pretty awesome, so much detail. I wish there was a 1/4 version

What is the material of this statue?

I just got mine in yesterday - it appears to be vinyl. The main body feels pretty solid. Some of the thinner portions feel a little flexible but overall I was happy with the quality of the statue. It's a lot better than the Rise of the Tomb Raider CE statue.

With the Amazon Prime discount I paid $103 for the game + art book + statue. Realistically if I wasn't buying the collector's edition for most games I try to wait 6 months to a year until they drop into the $20-25 range before buying, but I still found it to be a good deal.

Not that one can tell by looking at it, but it is made of PVC. I'm certain the reason was the mass production and cost as this is inlucded as a premium in the deluxe edition of the game. But I don't think this could have be in resin due to some the pieces would have been too fragile.
