Well, true to his word, Paolo delivered. I got the package on Black Friday (yesterday), with the sketchbook, a beautiful commission, and even an extra headsketch. Thankful this turned out on the positive end.
If I knew how to post a picture, I would! Any instructions?

Hey Ghost,
A little behind on here, but yes I also had a bad experience with him. Not terrible but still.
Basically what happened was he was offering his sketchbook with amazing copic bust sketches in them for cheap so I ordered one instantly. A long time had passed and I had basically the same thing, a lot of communication at first and then radio silence for a while. I started pestering him and he eventually responded and sent me something. It ended up being the wrong sketchbook with no sketch. Frustrated, I cut my losses and left it at that.
I was talking to another Aspen artist who said Paolo was even being late on his sequential work because of the flood of commissions he takes and was building a bad rap with the company. He must've worked it out because he is still doing stuff for them. There's no excuse for being late on published work or not delivering on commissions, just don;t take them if you can't do them.
I don't know, I might try to get an at show sketch ONLY if he finishes it at the show, but even then I'm a little iffy.
I'm glad you ended up getting what you paid for though and I hope the piece turned out awesome. That means there's still hope for everyone else.
