Top Gun Maverick.
So I’m giving this rating based on what the movie is meant to be. It’s a 9/10 because it’s exactly what it want to be - a modern Top Gun. It’s like I watched the same damn movie from when I was a kid. My brother watched the movie so damn much I can’t watch it. If I’m rating it based on my enjoyment of the film, it gets a 6/10. It bad. Not great. Just there and I might watch it on TV if nothing else was on. But that’s bc I don’t get the hype The only reason I saw this in the theatre is because my husband finally showed an interest in seeing a movie and I’m all for encouraging him to get out and see it. He loved it.

Men (2022) - A young woman goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside following the death of her ex-husband.
I liked this a lot, but I understand why reviews aren't great from people who may have thought they experienced a bait-and-switch based on the trailer. 8/10
