they announced today @ comic con that UMvC3 is going 2 have a similar system involving gems & cards.
i just don't get the appeal 2 this type of system.
i know one of the old marvel games used the infinity gems.

god i hope they don't put gems into SF4, that game needs to be left alone and just balance it.
Guess the gems is trying to grab the kids who do not like the traditional fighting games with a win or lose match.

Not sure what to think of the direction of this game.
The alt costumes for Capcom's fighters usually serve a purpose, whether it's a nod to the character's history or just add an overall coolness to the character. I know it doesn't always turn out that way, however, the alts for this game are horrible. Just a plain mess.

Ya i dont understand the alts at all for sfxt. Its like a bunch of kids got to pick and choose wacky stuff for them. If they are not free, i doubt they will sell at all.

Seems like they're being called "SWAP" costumes.
Which from the pics looks like there's a chance we'll see Mika, Dee Jay, Charlie & Sodom in the game as well.

"SWAP" costumes? Good grief, that's got "LAZY" written all over it.

Almost makes me wonder if they have all those character models done and ready to be places in either sfxt or SF4. Like Sodom, Mika, Charlie etc....
Im sure they got them ready to be placed ii either game.

You know they're talking about SF 5, but that would be cool if they were ported into SF 4.
