Sorry to say, no matter how many times XM modify the current Kinpin, it will still not work. Who really wants a fat guy sitting on a couch playing chess? I can see this one go down in value...just like Hulk and She-Hulk.

the "chess pieces" are just way too big for the board they are on. doesn't fit on the squares.

I think this is very much a love him or hate him piece. Because I've heard a lot of positive reviews for him. Even my wife is really wishing we would buy him and she isn't into the character much.

I don´t think. With Kingpin there was a unpainted version from Namor and Venom Bust at SHCC 2016. My thought is to many events to ship everything right in time.

I know everyone says, "He's playing chess." or, "The chess pieces are too big so I don't know what the hell he's doing." I don't think he's playing chess. To me, it's more like some sort of 'thinking board' or 'process of elimination board' using sculptures of his enemies and frenemies. Definitely not a chess board or chess pieces. I don't hate the statue nor do I love it. I would've just like to have seen him standing up, but this one is unique and I think it makes for a better stand-alone statue than any....especially for Kingpin die-hards (which I'm not). I think it could make a better stand-alone, because it reminds me of The Thinking Man statue, except with more of a sinister geek twist to it utilizing Kingpin as The Thinking Man. I'd want the statue because it makes for a really cool "thought process" piece....an I like Kingpin's character enough to buy it. My take on it anyway.
Speaking of Dr. Octopus....what happened to him? XM needs to get that dude back in motion. He's an ultra enemy of Spider-Man. Even more ultra than Venom, and my favorite of all his enemies.
