since it's probably in 1/4 scale, I'll be getting this.
I like this design better than Prime1 except for those ugly ass trousers. but my taste is questionable at best. my favourite doomsday design is the first appearance and my second favourite is injustice.

maybe I will customize the trousers down the road to show more skin on the calf. the sword, trident, batarang, and cape will be left in the box forever. I don't think you can remove the cowl tho.

I was waiting to see Sideshow's version of Doomsday before deciding on the Prime 1 and after seeing this partial reveal, I'll be picking up the Prime 1 version. I understand the need to 'Modernize' certain characters but some characters just need to be left alone (imho). Doomsday doesn't need Armored Legs ... HE'S DOOMSDAY and he went blow for blow with Superman! The only thing I truly like about the SS version is the half masked portrait and I wish now that Prime 1 had that as an EX option versus the New 52 Portrait instead.

I know the Prime 1 Doomsday is a bit more expensive but I believe like most of you that this SS Doomsday will clock in at $1.1 - $1.3K, so if I'm going to spend that much already, I'll just continue to save towards the Prime 1 version instead.

It might be less than $1k if it's plastic like Swamp Thing.

I want to be here on the forums when Sideshow announces that. I'd take a day off from work and do nothing but read the comments all day!

IGO, majority of collectors want comic book accurate costume design. Quit messy with these unnecessary design that nobody cares for.

It's almost like they just want to add more stuff to it that is not necessary. They need to remove the ankle armor pants. It looks so stupid...JMHO.
this man gets it

Looks great to me I like what they did. Prime 1 I believe is actually 1/4 scale to match with the N52 stuff.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Nope, it's 1/3. It says it right on their website.

I believe it's a 1/3 as well. Here's Doomsday next to Hush Superman, who is also a 1/3 scale.

I don't think there could be a more impressive Doomsday ever than Prime 1. Sorry...SS is impressive and will be much more affordable I am sure. But Prime 1 is pure Doomsday perfection IMO.
