Overall I like it. It just has to be accepted this is not the cartoon version, it’s sideshow’s own version.

Sideshow is afraid to go big and plain even when it’s called for. Ideal would’ve been how Diamond did the bust. Instead, sideshow mimicked the Mezco figure.

I really like it. Pose is great as is the amount added detail in the costume to elevate it from a smooth animated look to a realistic interpretation. Not sure if the animated portrait really works with that or how I feel about the smoke/fire effect on the rocket boots yet. Almost wish they were optional and he could alternatively attach to the base.

I tink I prefer the exclusive portrait but mainly for the facial expression because that's what I'm used to seeing. I think it's a good thing they didn't go all out animated because then it wouldn't have matched the rest of the statue. They've managed to find a decent middle-ground.

Not crazy about the way they approached the boot propulsion system. It reminds me of jet fuel which makes the futuristic suit feel dated. I'd have preferred some sort of unexplainable energy displacement beam. I suppose it could be argued all the smoke is simply a result of the surface of the base being burnt at a high temperature.

Head-on, I was worried the pose would look awkward but it's actually kind of cool side-on or at an angle which is how I imagine most will display it.

Seeing the whole thing now, I think the overall buffness is okay. Slightly too much but it's not derimental to the statue. I find his buff legs more distracting than the upper body. But Sideshow is using a lot of shadows and highlights with their lighting. In most people's display units, the muscle definition will be dampened by comparison.

Overall it's a winner in my book. This is the first Batman PF Sideshow have done that I like a lot. If this was released back when the first Batman PF was for $400, I'd have bought it in a heartbeat. Now though, we'll see.

The pose should be more iconic to the character. I'd have rather seen him taking off with his feet together like he did in the series.

I am worried about Leaning, can someone from Sideshow chime in and talk about how they are tackling this?

There has to be a steel rod that goes through his left leg going up maybe to his chest.

This piece just went from woah....to no. Please no. It looks like he stepped in a massive pile of sticky poop. I'm flying through the air.....la la la....WTF!

And that EX head? I know it's sourced from the cartoons. But on this body? really?

Ohh well. The body sculpt is nice though.

This is still my favorite Batman Beyond piece and what really brought me back into this hobby.

Sideshow can't touch this piece.

Daniel Bel nailed it again. I love everything about it. Sure pre-order for me.

I think his build is well in adequacy with either Bruce toward to end of his Batman career or Terry in the epilogue from the Justice League series.
