Talking JS's entire collection as of 05-24-06

Here is 99% of my current statue collection as of 05-24-06: JS's COLLECTION

The pictures were taken going counter-clockwise around my office, but
when they're uploaded to a gallery it throws them all out of order.

I've got much more coming in soon, and absolutely NO room to put it.
I've got a WETA Venatosaurus Bust that isn't on display, but all else is
out and in the open. The only things not shown are my 7 Mogwai, my
3 foot tall Shrek & Donkey, and my 1/3 scale Spiderman Statue which
are all in another room. As you can see, I like a LOT of variety.

I'm going to be adding new shelves in other rooms, and also replacing
many of the 12" deep shelves you see with 16" deep shelves, as most
of the statues I'm getting now are too big to fit on the 12" shelves.

Thanks very much for looking!

A lot of variety indeed ! Never thought such a diversified collection could look so nice ! Can't wait to see your updates !
Could you give me some info about that Iron Giant ? (one of the all-time best animated films, IMO)

very nice collection JS
That shelf with the kong vs vrex, hulk, xmen vs sentinel etc is taking some abuse weight wise! those must be some heavy duty brackets you`ve got there

Yes, indeed those are heavy-duty brackets. Steel construction screwed right into
the wall studs 16" on center. They're rated to hold hundreds of pounds. Never go
skimpy on shelving or brackets where things like this are concerned. I've heard some
horror stories of shelves collapsing (usually the glass ones) and I shudder at the thought.

Very nice JS. But it must be a nightmare keeping them cleaned?

Nah. My office has one heat/cooling vent only, and I keep it closed at all times,
so the room is 99% dust-free luckily for me. I'd hate to obscure the statues behind
a cabinet with doors, as I just love viewing everything unobstructed whenever possible.

nice variety! put some in your gallery. I like the Mr. Incredible full size as well as the Iron Robot. I don't have either as full size. I have the incredibles busts only.

Yeah, I like those two as well. They look great! May I ask who made them?
