My Heroes Are Mixed Up Like Someone Put Peanut Butter In My Chocolate!!

Went to a very small local show today and there was a gentleman with a few pieces of art. I picked this up -- its a Wizard Poster for the Amalgam series from 1997. The Wonder Woman/Storm and Cap/Superman really make the piece pop in my opinion.

And here is the color version

Definitely falls into the right place right time for getting a cool piece of 17 year old art (gasp -- that was 17 years ago????). I also was able to score a couple of surprise pages for a fellow forum member and some Starlin/Thanos goodness.

Very cool! Congrats! I loved Damaggio's work on Green Arrow! I don't think there's a whole lot else that he was involved with.

In all honesty, I had no idea who he/she was when I looked at the art. Also you can see he signed it "02" which did not jibe with the right timeframe. So I took a chance picking it up - hoping it actually was published and also not a reproduction by a different artist. Fortunately for me it was a win win all the way around.

I loved that ridiculous fan voting Amalgam series. Even more so since Storm beat out Wonder Woman

Congrats on the pick-up!
