Cavewoman, Meriem Cooper, as Clay's next sculpt...

Anyone read Cavewoman? Meriem would be a great character for Clay to sculpt. Here is a few examples of the art of Bud Root and maybe some possible poses for a phenomenal sculpt.

I'll throw a poll in here in case anyone feels like voting.

I've never met Budd Root, but we have friends in common. His work is very good and working with him is not out of the question as far as I'm concerned. However, it's also possible I'd just design my own prehistoric/jungle girl rather than license. It's a terrific universal subject.

I'd love a Cavewoman statue...! She's just "thick" enough that Clay would be the man for the job.

Cavewoman would be great by Clay, so long as it came out quicker than the Pangaean Sea series.

After seeing his vision with the female figure, and Godzilla. I think the last pic with the T-Rex would make for a good transformation.

As a big fan of Budd (I'm even fortunate enough to have grabbed a couple of pieces of his original art before prices skyrocketed) and a fan of Clay Moore, I'd more than likely buy the living heck out of a Cavewoman statue. I'd never promise to buy something like that completly sight unseen, but I have little doubt that Moore could pull it off perfectly. It would definitely also appeal to people who have never even read the comic. Statue of a buxom girl in a snakeskin bikini? Who wouldn't want one of those?

These illustrations are smoking hot. As a general rule, I don't buy "pure cheesecake" statues, but I love looking at them. I can tell that a Budd/Moore Cavewoman collaboration would be seriously yummy!

If I look at an image or statue and get the feeling that its primary appeal is T&A, then I classify it as "pure cheesecake." For example, many of the vinyl anime statues are pure cheesecake in my opinion. A good example of a pure cheesecake statue made by Moore is that Sinful Suzi one. Anyway, the classification is just based on the feeling I get. Other people may feel differently about a piece.

I don't buy pure cheesecake pieces because I wouldn't feel comfortable displaying them around my family and friends. Nevertheless, I enjoy looking at the pieces online, and I have no problem whatsoever with other people owning and displaying them in their homes.
