I got an email today notifying that you can pre-order the statue on dec 15 but no info on price.

Anyone knows what the price is going to be or is this offer in this month preview or will it be offer in preview at all?

When I discussed price w/ Clay at a recent con, this is what he felt, at the time, the statue would come in at. Around $400. Nothing was set in stone when we talked.

I'll have to think about this one. Its a great piece but I have no other similar style statues in my collection.

I'm going to guess $389. I'm wondering if he will try to keep it as close to $350 as possible, that seems to be the threshold at which it becomes hard to sell almost (I know there are a few exceptions) any prepainted resin statue.

Bullseye brings up another important point, displaying this one will be a little odd for most people. Due to cost and size concerns, the surrounding figures were left out of the statue. Without them or being familiar with the painting this statue may lack context for most people. The horse is in an odd and contorted position and Conan's expression seems strange without the context of the surrounding attacking figures.

That said I plan to buy it almost regardless of cost.

Has the full completed piece been shown? I don't recall seeing the base or this painted for that matter.

No it hasn't been shown painted. The website is saying some toyfare site or something will show the painted version on the 10th of Sept I believe. I have heard the base will look like clouds of dust or some other manner of obscuring the support for the horse. I don't know how that will look exactly but I think it is the only thing they could do without any of the other elements from the painting.
