Was going for something like this but was going from memory, probably need a little more red and oranges in the washes, still gotta fix my airbrush to get the black pattern in the snake paint-up.

A little worried that painting the snake’s black pattern might throw off Conan’s warpaint patterns as an overall display, might just have to leave him as is if I can’t fix my airbrush.

Airbrushes can be a PITA sometimes. I have a Badger Sotar 20/20 that is giving me fits. Gotta send it back for repair. Can't beat their warranty though. Just pay the shipping.

Thanks for reminding me, I do have a sotar 20/20 put away in the garage, which I just dug out, I put it away once I got my renegade spirit about 5 years ago.

The badger renegade spirit has been my favorite go to A/B because of the side feed cup, it gives me an unobstructed view of my subject and the cup can hold more paint and be covered and yet it’s still a gravity feed, also have A renegade Krome which I dropped and never got fixed.

I ordered parts yesterday for the Badger spirit and Krome.

I think I’m done with the base, I moved the logo higher on to the leather belt line, looks a lot better there because the leather looks bland with nothing going on there.

I did some pre mock paint ups with the black camo patterns on the snake, it made the base with the logo to busy looking for me, it took my eye away from Arnold’s figure, so I decided to go without the black snake patterns, did add more blue and orange hues to breakup the yellow and make it look interesting enough.

I originally mounted logo on the top snake tier.

Remounted logo to the leather belt line.

I just opened my war paint version and I gotta say I like it better than my beach version. They are both terrific statues. Some of the best in my collection

So are you saying I need both versions? I only have the beach version now and love it.
