Nice, sculpt seems rather simple for a 1/4. It looks a lot better than Kotobukiya's but nothing really going for it other than size.
As much as I would love some Cowboy Bebop, I will have to pass. I don’t think I will support any new F4F lines, unless it’s a one and done piece because this whole 800 - 1000 Ex is lame.
Congrats to those picking it up, I may reconsider down the road if they all get made.

They seem more dedicated to finishing this one. They never made promises for the other lines but they said this one would be completed. I dont know what circumstances could keep that from happening but I guess we’ll see how it goes. I think having just one is simple, but 4 in a lineup is going to be an impressive display.

I hope they do a deluxe base for the whole crew. The base is my main quibble with it, though I think it’s a good compromise for now to keep the introductory price low to maximize orders of Spike. That should help the rest of the characters.
I do wonder if this would have done better as a 1/6 scale; that size seems like a good fit for this level of detail.

Yeah I threw together something last night. The Faye pose is the one they’ll likely use as its highest in the polls. Could have a face front diorama depending on how they go with Ed. Ed is usually doing something in the ground and if so would work well in front of the other pieces. If they go for Ed with maybe Ein on her shoulders to make her taller, I would want a close side by side or back to back base. As is, theyll look pretty good lined up, just a little spaced too far apart which makes display room a bit tricky. Possibly they could be displayed a bit closer together using small risers.
Funny how when you put them together, the simple static design turns into something epic
