That's a better effort than the effort put into the somewhat average Æon Flux movie.
Average outfit, average movie. They tried, but somehow didn't quite manage the vibe of the cartoon.
Talk about a total cover up. Not to mention, Charlize Theron just doesn't look skinny or angular to play the part.
For the moment, i can't think of a suitable actress for the role..
Update: Angelina Jolie might have worked better for the role.
I'm not a huge fan of Jolie's abilities, but she does have a skinny slightly demonic look about her

I know. I go there every summer. My parents are from Croatia and live on the Adriatic coast. Makes for some good viewing on the beach. Especially in August when all the topless Italian women hit the beaches during their vacation time as well.

Funny, in my province of Ontario, Canada, a woman in 1996 went to court and said women should be allowed to be topless in public and the court ruled in her favor. For the 1st year you saw some topless women in public (many on Canada Day celebration) but a year after and even now nothing.

to do a film based on the highly stylized cartoon and not even use an actress with the same build, change the costume altogether, hair totally different, COMPLETELY COVER THE BUTT, what were people thinking? That shot of Adrienne cosplaying is better than the whole film.

They did sort of screw up completely
Ignoring the lead actress for a moment, the rest of the film failed to come close to re creating the vibe of the animated series.

Its about time Tank Girl got the 1/4 or 1/3 scale statue treatment 
Gentle Giant's Honey Trap - Derby has Tank Girl vibes.
The image of Tank Girl (right) rates as one of my favourites from the comic.
I've never seen the live action movie, as i've read too many negative reports.
The lead actress (left) doesn't appear to fit the bill. She looks more like Lady GaGa
Daryl Hannah during her Blade Runner years would have been perfect for the role.
These days Margot Robbie might ideal!
