I think some of it has to do with flooding the market with stuff. Not everyone can afford to buy stuff every week or month also. Produce too much and quality can go down also since trying to get products to market on time and making room for the next ones. Hey, I'm no marketing wizard, but they must know something about what they are doing. I mean afterall...they want to make money...I think.
