Kotobukiya Cyclops Repaint

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share with you my first repaint ever, which is also a bit of a custom as well as I had to mod the visor and the hair.

Working on this piece was an absolute blast so thank you Mr Sosa for delivering my favorite childhood X-men member. You've taken me back to when I was a five-year old watching the animated series; so, again, thanks so much for that!

I hope you guys like what I did with this piece and please check out the video I posted on youtube

Thanks!

Well, here's what Cyke looks like straight from the factory.

Basically what I did is I took the visor off and reshaped it.
I made it so that Scott's nose shows a little more and gave it that nice arch type of look around the nose.
I shortened it as well because it's too big out of the box.

I used files, sandpaper, took my time to make sure I got it right

Thanks, glad you like it. There's a new, better one coming soon.

I was just asking about this in another thread. I am going to pick one up, but will need to have the hair and visor reshaped similar to what you've done DS. I think I'll also want it to have a metallic paint (not gold but more automotive like). I'll know better once in hand, but the chin might need some thinning out as well. Looking forward to seeing your new one so maybe I can get some ideas. Shooting you a PM.
