Oh, I know that. And see I think "Hawkgirl" kinda sounds like you got choked in between the "k" and the "g." LOL. I'd just rather see "woman" on the box and statue.

I just never saw her as a "girl." She's a married lady for cryin' out loud. Ha. She's an adult. There are too many "girls" (Bat, Super, Wonder, Power, female Legionnaires, etc) and not enough "women."

Anyway it was "Hawkwoman" up until Kendra (ugh, don't get me started) came around in 1999...so most of my life....and specifically during Super Powers.

This is super exciting - can’t wait to see the process unfold!

And if we are keeping score, she’ll always be “Hawkgirl” to me. Name used at one point or another by almost all versions of the character and just much more iconic.

Either way though - super stoked!
