It's supposed to be inspired by movies and stuff, not a likeness of an actor or something. I really like these and I love the exclusive colors but the price tag is killing me... not too mention the shipping and import fees they'll hit us with.

I agree. The days of $300 1:4 scale statue is a thing of the past.

You know what else is going to be a thing of the past if they keep marking these up? Me collecting 1:4 statues.
My cap is $400. After that, I will simply find another hobby or something else to collect.

I figured out what really bothers me about the variant. It's her lipstick. Maybe it's just the image. But on the normal, her lipstick is very natural looking. Almost like someone who just got out of the water or was going diving. On the variant the lipstick is like she's going to a party or something.
Also, those Bond ideas. My other reference photo from a few posts ago has Bond in Thunderball with the blue goggles. These show his watch worn in Goldfinger and Thunderball also the Thunderball girls with their 60s hairstyles. Domino (Claudine Auger) is out front with the spear. GG easily could have done more with the homage.

I hear you. I've severely cut my collecting habits. Star Wars is out - after Shaak-Ti and Malgus. Lord of the Rings is out after Sauron. So that leaves the Yamato Fantasy line and now the Honey Trap. If status quo for 1:4 prices exceed $400, I will be done collecting.

I only got an E-Mail from Gentle Giant 10 minutes ago on this. I ordered it immediately but can't believe this was listed a day already. Would have been really pissed if this Sold out before I even got the mail.

I'm glad it's priced ridiculously . I needed a reason to not collect another line.

Strangely, I never received any email about this.
