I’m betting that the Child seeing a lot of violence and being Force sensitive will bring in the Dark Side at some point.

That could be quite interesting...we saw him start choking Cara Dune last season, although that was more of a misunderstanding rather than an outright use of the force in anger/hate.

Yeah, I remember that part. He was hurting an innocent person thinking that he was doing “the right thing”. Kinda like Anakin telling Obi Wan that the Jedi were evil in Revenge of the Sith.

Looks like there's going to be two spin-offs from The Mandalorian, Boba Fett is getting his own series as well as Ashoka... Disney is hinting the Boba Fett series will start before The Mandalorian season 3 does...

If I remember right, there was a Boba Fett series in the works a few years ago and was replaced with the Mandalorian.

It was a Boba Fett movie but when the Solo movie tanked they put it on the shelf... From what I've read Disney had nothing to do with the creation of The Mandalorian, it was all Jon Favreau...

Yeah, that was the film Josh Trank was going to direct, but his difficulties with the Fantastic 4 film kind of derailed things and Lucasfilm pulled the plug. Then a few years later, James Mangold was rumored to direct a Fett film, but that also died on the vine.

I am curious about the over arching plot, but honestly I love these story based episodes. Lot of little characterizations and world building moments that draw me in. I really love the small scale that gives a sense of being part of a grander world.
