My guess would be that Prime 1 feels there isn't enough fan interest to warrant licensing and (relatively) low sales of Alien Resurrection pieces. They traditionally don't sell as well as the others.

They made a large scale Predator killer, CGI assassin and hound from a movie that everybody hated. I genuinely don't think they even put that much thought into how popular stuff may be. We've never really seen any high end resurrection stuff other than the coolprops busts, I wouldn't be overly surprised if Prime 1 tackle it.

If they make a great piece it will still sell even from a mediocre movie. Look at AVP preds, they are going all in with those.

Fewture made a beautiful warrior from Resurrection, sculpted by Takayuki Takeya. It has been done before, and a company like Prime 1 could pull it off.

I liked the 1/6 Sideshow one also, had it many years ago.

That was also actually done by sideshow (they used their sculpt). I think that is a SS photo with the SS logo cropped out. It was my first statue ever actually and I still have it.

It is less red and shiny in actual production (looks better imo). Though the photo may be one from when it was a kit or whatever it was before sideshow did their run. It is quite small.

I don't think sideshow actually made those, just purchased a run from Fewture. Did the same with their predator on horse piece too.

That's correct, Sideshow did new runs of Fewture's products. Their Newborn and Alien Pile as well.

Was that the swimming pose one? I liked that also. I do quite like the design in general. If Prime 1 made a nice 1/4, I'd consider it for sure...

Palisades put out a lot of crap, but they also had a gem in their ~1/6 scale Grid Alien (from AVP) bust thing. Some potential there had then been fully realized.
