I'm glad this got delayed a bit. Sideshow seems to be shipping a ton this month and have crushed my wallet.

(i guess it's ok to post links to official Sideshow videos?)
Princess Leia Premium Format Figure Unboxing - Sideshow
https://youtu.be/VRhAu0piDEs

Looks just like the prototype.
There really doesn't appear to be much to this piece, given the high price.

'this is a flexible.. Errr.. material?' - Susan
That's one way of avoiding the word plastic, when describing Leia's blaster hand

This got me thinking - are both Leia's hands flexible plastic?
Does this mean her arms are plastic also?
..or have they managed to seamlessly join Leia's hands to her arms?

I still like the portrait likeness off, too long, too tanned, compared to the excellent Hot Toys Hoth Leia

Good luck to all that pre_ordered!

It pretty obvious that they use same material with portrait and arm. But it may not be plastic because from the website they said it made of polystone.

I don't care about plastics, ABS, Vinyl or anything on a statue as long as it looks good, that's my main concern, statues are for looking at, as long as it looks right i don't care what its made of...whether it weighs 20KG or 2KG...

BUT i have to say bending the fingers to put in the blaster is horrible...this is then becoming a $540 action figure...

I mean, if that blaster goes in that easy, ship it with it attached to the hand and then when someone has to pack her away they don't need to pull that gun out as the polystyrene will be cut to hold the arm holding the gun, not them separately....

Overall i think she looks good though...
