I asked P1 if they ship to the US and the answer is no. CC is not distributing this either. Now what?! In my case i have a friend in japan but that shipping here is going to be high. Wonder if there's another way. Please help.

If P1 won't ship, I suspect AmiAmi won't either as they usually follow distribution rules in my experience. I wonder if CC is not going to carry anymore P1 Jurassic pieces in the future. P1 is competition, and their pieces similar to CC's like Blue seemed to be much more popular, so CC may not want the competition. From a business standpoint, I can't blame them, but as a collector, I find it irritating.

I suppose if AmiAmi doesn't you can use a forwarding company. Fromjapan is very reliable (unless your trying to file a claim for broken iten)

I preordered on AmiAmi and they sent me an acknowledgment email. Not sure if that means the same as a confirmation email or if they’ll go ahead and still distribute when the time comes. Here’s hoping. So far, I think this is the most accurate looking JP1 Rex since this recent JP-statue boom.

Or maybe it s because of the price, that could be an option. Chronicles is not the only company to sell Jurassic Park toys or maquettes, mattel does it too for exemple, maybe under some price they don't have the exclusive licence for north America. Maybe it start above 80 or 100 or 150 USD who knows. It could explain why they are not distibuting some of them. Just guessing here.

In one of the live chats Paul mentioned this and I think Mattel has the license from $0-$120 or something like that. I would need to go a long ways back to find it as it was when Iron Studios was announced as another JP licensee.
Now whether or not that has anything to do with CC not offering these I don't know.

I decided to pre-order both but went through AmiAmi instead of Hobby Search. They've really grown on me as I see more pics, so it was an easy decision. I'll definitely order the Brachiosaurus as well.
