Maybe, maybe not. johnclone called it the "worst idea ever" in his OP, which is hyperbolic considering all of the bad ideas that have been implemented in Spider-Man stories and movies.

Didn't they do this in the past 3-5 years on a recent Spiderman cartoon series? It was a multi-parter but I happened to catch a few episodes.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

When they showed the preview for this after Venom. Every single soul got up and left in disgust. Maybe the kids might like it. Pretty terrible imo.

No reason to dislike something you haven’t watched yet. It only shows a shortsighted view of things. Besides, this is old news unless you were living under a rock.

Perfectly rational to not like the idea of something you haven't seen yet. I don't like the art style. There's my rationale for ya mate. Is that illogical.? I don't like Justin Bieber music, and I'll dislike every album he makes because i don't like his music style.

Your argument makes no sense at all.

I still feel a Venom movie without Spiderman was a far worse idea for a Spiderman movie.
