Wow, harsh! I thought Robocop 2014 was fun enough. It did enough different things where I wasn't always comparing to the original. I'd go 6/10. Highlight for me was probably Murphy seeing the extent of his damage.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I laughed at that part.

Last House on Cemetery Lane - 5/10. O-K for a redbox rental, but that's about it. English Writer suffering from The Block, rents a creepy, cemetery centric house & moves in for 8 weeks to finish his screenplay. He's told that an old blind woman lives on the 3rd floor, but "she won't be any trouble." Well, she is. Lots of creepy doll stuff & an eerie couple of dream sequences. Of course he meets a few folks around the town who aren't what they appear to be. It had me squinting thru one eye during a scene or two, but the ending, in it's attempt to be hip & cutting edge, just left me scratching my head. If you like ghost stories, it's worth a watch but don't expect anything groundbreaking..

John Wick 7/10. The Director must really enjoy his 1st person, shooter games.

Captain America: The Winter Solider 7.5/10

Still my favorite in the Avengers side of the MCU but I think I like GotG better now that I got to sit and really digest TWS on a second viewing.

Evans was on point and they did an amazing job of the flashback sequences. I am truly disappointed that this story won't see its penultimate conclusion in the interest of injecting IM and Civil War into the MCU at this juncture. Even if they do touch on Cap and Bucky in the 3rd film their relationship deserved a full film truly focused on those two characters with the likes of Falcon and Sharon Carter in mere supporting roles.
