My first viewing of this movie tonight. While I was thoroughly entertained I'm leaning toward liking the winter soldier a bit more.

Just watch on DVD and after my second viewing I'm feeling the same. Think Winter Soldier is a bit better

Legend (2015) - 6/10
Tom Hardy brings his A-game, as usual, as the notorious Kray twins, who were at the top of organized crime in London's East End in the 1960s. It was interesting enough, but I wish I'd watched a documentary on them instead, so as to get a more full and realistic picture.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Christmas Horror Story 8/10 Lots of potential if this had a bigger budget but well done as is.

City Of The Living Dead (1980) 5/10
That's it, I'm done. I've tried & tried but I just don't get the mystique & praise of Italian Horror. This one by Lucio Fulci (I've also seen his Zombie & House By The Cemetery, & Beyond) is really nothing more than a collection of shocking & gross-out shots. The plot thread is weak at best & the music is the most horrific thing in the film. Sure, visually, there are some fun moments, but enough. I don't get the love aimed towards Italian horror. I've yet to see a remotely good one.
The Spanish make better of the same type. See Tombs of the Blind Dead.

Miss Peregrines School for Peculiar Children 7/10
Both my girls enjoyed it though I was a little surprised at how long the set up was prior to any fantasy elements of the film and how violent and scary the third act was. I was happy that I saw it in the theatre though as the sets and locations warranted the grand canvas.

Independence Day: Resurgence - pretty but spectacularly dumb. 5/10
Ghostbusters (2016) - Complete waste of time and money. The cameos just made me cringe. 3/10
