PCS just released a new 1/4 line fully sculpted no mixed media. They just sold vega 1/4 scale yesterday. I thought PTZ got the 1/4 scale fully sculpted license for street fighter. So is capcom just stringing you along and taking your sculpts Eric?

I would be pissed if they turn out to be similar in material and size considering I spent over 1k for Ryu and ken

Over 1k means you got them painted then? Care to show some pics? I like seeing the kits assembled & painted.

The CAPCOM versions are tiny.

I have a video somewhere from E3. They are indeed very small. I could upload it. Let me see if I can find it.

Thanks for posting the video. The pics on the Capcom website are kinda low res. They look good from what I can tell from the video.

That's a good look at those statues. I guess they are ok for the average collector. I still think the base sucks. Too generic and used for Mega Man. It made sense for him. Not for Ryu.

I guess we'll know next week if Prototypez will truly start to sell pre-painted statues. And not this side, smaller type of deal.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I am so confused, according to Vince who painted many of the kits, the kit is about 10 inches with base which seems to be the same size as the capcom version?

Or are you saying capcom took the sculpt scan but shrinked in size?

Pre Order sold out for now.

They're tiny so what does that mean? You can't really tell from the video.

I think they mean smaller than the kit. I think somebody mentioned 1/8 scale (kit is 1/6) or something.

I was kinda disappointed when I read "sold out", in case I wanted the evil version later (Capcom emailed that they sent the regular version already), but then I saw "more coming soon". Cool.

I didn't want to spend money on both in case they were really cheap looking. But thought $100 is a small enough amount to spend on one, to maybe satisfy my curiosity on these.
